RIP Sir Jack Brabham

The F1 world lost another legend

On Monday the 19^th of May

When the very first Aussie champ

Sir Jack Brabham passed away
 

The stats speak for themselves

For certain with Sir Jack.

With 3 world titles and 14 wins

Talent wasn’t something he appeared to lack
 

Jack moved from Aus to the UK

To work as part of Cooper Racing

He was an amazing engineer

But Jack wanted to be driving, to be chasing…

 

 

 

He got his first F1 win at the greatest race,

The Monaco Grand Prix

Two world titles were also won,

Back to back in 1959 and 1960
 

But in 1966

Jack completely rewrote the history book

Winning the title in a car under his own name

Now that’s certainly down to talent not luck!
 

Sir Jack retired in 1970

And to this day his record still stands

Unlikely ever to be beaten

One thing that makes Jack a legend to fans
 

RIP Sir Jack Brabham

Your legend will always remain
