Formula One has seen talent disappear,
Sometimes as quick as it sees it arrive.
Due to how money driven the sport is now
It means some talent ends up missing out on a drive.
Sam Bird’s a guy who Id have put in F1
A long time ago…
He’s more than proved himself on track,
So why not make it so...?
He’s raced in all the right series,
From formula BMW right up to GP2.
Only a few points off the championship in 2013
This man’s a pure racing driver through and through!
Sam continues to impress in WEC,
Getting a podium first time out,
Showing his pure speed and overtaking skill
So his talent should never be in doubt
I wish Sam was in Formula One.
Just another British talent that sadly slipped through the
net.
