The Rise Of Ricciardo

In recent races

 we've seen the rise,

of Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo,

His goal? The ultimate F1 prize!

 

His F1 career began in 2011,

with the troubled Hispania Racing Team.

Where even points, forget wins,

may have seemed a distant dream.

 

But Dan stuck with it,

and he was right to do so.

The next two years would be a chance to prove himself,

signing for Toro Rosso!

 

And prove himself he did,

getting his first points at his home race.

consistent performances followed.

You could no longer doubt Dan's skill and pace.

 

Champions, Red Bull noticed this,

and offered Dan a full-time drive.

This is where F1 and the world,

would see Ricciardo truly arrive!

 

The first few races were unlucky,

But Dan and Red Bull started to improve.

Canada saw Dan grab his first ever win!

Now he was really in the groove

 

Back-to-back wins soon followed,

in both Hungary and Spa.
